Sex, Desire and Data is more fun when accompanied by Max, our AI chatbot. To get the most out of the experience, make sure your battery is fully charged! Just in case, there will be a few charging stations available for use on site.
What is Sex, Desire and Data?
Sex, Desire and Data is an interactive and collective experience that explores the connections between sexuality and technology.
How long does the experience last?
Sex, Desire and Data is an experience made up of several interactive installations of differing lengths.
The duration can therefore vary between 40 and 75 minutes depending on how long you'd like to stay at each section of the experience.
In what language is the experience presented?
The experience is available in both French and English.
Is there mediation available for Sex, desire and Data?
The PHI Centre offers mediation at all exhibitions. Please engage with our on-site staff, they are happy to help in any way!
Is the experience accessible for underage persons?
Sex, Desire and Data is for folks 16 years of age and older. However, a person 15 years old can access the experience by signing a waiver with a parent/guardian accompanying them during their visit.
Is the experience accessible to people with reduced mobility?
The experience is accessible to folks with reduced mobility. Please contact us before purchasing your ticket(s) so we can accommodate you. (514 225 0525, or [email protected]).
Companions are entitled to free admission.
What types of technologies are used throughout the experience?
Conversational and generative artificial intelligence, various components of extended reality, interactive projections, and spatial positioning technology.
Can the experience be enjoyed without the use of a cellular phone?
It is not necessary to use your mobile device, but we find it greatly enhances the experience if you are accompanied by Max, our AI chatbot.
Can I refund or reschedule my ticket(s)?
We do not offer any refund or rescheduling services. If you have any further questions, please contact: [email protected].
What happens if I am late for my time slot?
If you miss your time slot, please ask a staff member upon arrival and our team will try to accommodate you. If the day's time slots are full, then you may lose your access. It is very important to be on time.
If I would like to visit the PHI Centre as a group, how can I set this up?
Do all members of my group have to be present for us to do the experience at the same time?
In order to enjoy the experience at the same time, it is best to join your group before your time slot begins. If you are planning a visit and think that your group may arrive at different times, we suggest that you buy tickets separately.
Are there toilets available on site?
We have gender neutral restrooms at your disposal.
Is there a coat check on site?
For the winter season only, we have a paid coat check on site.
